Artist Noritaka Minami presents at MAS CONTEXT : ANALOG 2016, an event organized by MAS Context on Saturday, June 4, 2016 in Chicago. The one-day event included presentations of emerging and established designers, a temporary bookstore, and an exhibition of the work of Studio Gang Architects.

 

Noritaka Minami was born in Osaka, Japan in 1981 and immigrated with his family to the United States in 1987. He is currently Assistant Professor of Photography at Loyola University Chicago. In his art practice, Minami is interested in using the medium of photography to investigate the histories of built environments that are proposals of the future envisioned in the past and how their current states allow for the reflection of the contemporary moment in society.
