Revitalization of the Southwest of Merida, Yucatán: “Chain-Value” Buildings

April 5, 2010

Project by Silvia Echeverría Echeverría.

The Southwest socioeconomic issues are affected by its urban planning problems. A possible solution creates a territorial order, designed by means of a peripheral ring working as a democratic new urban-town. It involves two rural parks and four activity programmatic items, including local and touristic requirements, while solving demanding problems through growth.
