MAS Context : Analog




Please join us on Saturday, October 15th, to enjoy the presentations of emerging and established designers as part of the MAS CONTEXT : ANALOG event.

MAS CONTEXT : ANALOG will gather a group of emerging and established practitioners within the field of design who will discuss their work based on proposed themes. The event will include presentations by photographers, filmmakers, architects, urban designers, graphic designers and industrial designers.

Speakers include Lee Bey, David Schalliol, Jessica Rodrigue, John Szot, Andrew Moddrell and Christopher Marcinkoski, Sarah Dunn, Stewart Hicks and Allison Newmeyer, Brian Strawn and Karla Sierralta, Jeremiah Chiu, Karen Semone, Cheryl Towler Weese, Jason Pickleman, Caroline Linder and Lisa Smith, Cody Hudson, Craighton Berman and Rick Valicenti.

Golden Age, the artist-run project space located in the West Loop, will set up their shop in the space.

Plural, the Chicago-based creative studio practice who has designed the awesome poster for the event, will exhibit their work during the event.

A closing party will follow the presentations.

This event is free and open to the general public. Please RSVP to so we can prepare accordingly. It is an all-day event so please stop by anytime or plan to stay all day, listen to the presentations, check the exhibition, buy publications, connect with other designers… It is a celebration of the design community in Chicago and we want you to be part of it.

The event space is situated in the Halsted Triangle area east of Goose Island, close to the North/Clybourn train stop (CTA Red Line) and several bus routes such as #8 (Halsted), #70 (Division) and #72 (North). Use Google maps to find your route. Although we encourage the use of public transportation, bicycles, and walking, street parking is available in the area.
