On Monday, January 19, 2015, Iker Gil and five LA-based contributors provided a behind-the-scenes look at MAS Context and discussed the work each of them have contributed. The event took place at the offices of Bruce Mau Design in Santa Monica.
Presenters included Julia Luke (Creative Director, Julia Luke Design), Deborah Richmond (Architect, Deborah Richmond Architects), Joshua G. Stein (Architect, Radical Craft), David Yoon (Engineer, YoonCo), and Mimi Zeiger (Critic, editor, curator and instigator). The event was moderated by Iker Gil (Editor-in-chief, MAS Context) and Andrew Clark (Director, BMD Los Angeles).
Thank you very much to all the presenters for taking part in the event; to Bruce Mau Design for hosting us; to Steven Olimpio for documenting the event; and to all of you who attended the event. We really enjoyed meeting new people and catching up with old friends.
